Noah Groth, Chairman of the Board and Founder

Noah Groth is the founder of GuardianEdge. He has more than 20 years of experience in the IT security, software development and computer security industry.

Mr. Groth is also founder and chairman of Micro Security Devices, Inc., a manufacturer of anti-theft computer security devices sold to more than 400 of the Fortune 1000 companies and customers in nearly two dozen countries. Mr. Groth founded Micro Security Devices in 1984. Before entering the computer security industry, he founded an IT consultancy, managed information systems for a billion dollar real estate investment trust and worked as an auditor for Arthur Andersen & Company.

Mr. Groth holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Tennessee. He is an inactive Certified Public Accountant in California.

Alan Fudge, President and CEO

Alan Fudge is responsible for leading the company’s strategic direction while overseeing and managing day-to-day operations. With more than 20 years of experience in executive management and sales operations, Alan brings GuardianEdge a proven track record for delivering strong and sustainable revenue growth and building high-performance teams within diverse organizational environments.

Prior to joining GuardianEdge, Alan was executive vice president of worldwide field operations at VMware, an independent subsidiary of EMC, where he was responsible for the company’s sales, professional services, field marketing and global channels. Before that, Alan held executive positions at BEA Systems, Objectspace and IBM. While at IBM, he led the Tivoli Americas sales, systems engineering and professional services organizations, a 900-member team that delivered more than $950 million in annual revenue. Alan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in computer science from St. Edward’s University in Texas.

Anthony Lee, Board Member

Anthony Lee is a General Partner of Altos Ventures, focusing on investments in the areas of infrastructure, Internet and enterprise software. Anthony currently serves as a director of Accelovation, CrownPeak, Demandbase, GuardianEdge, and Xignite. He also serves as a board observer with several other Altos-funded companies.

Before joining Altos Ventures in 2000, Anthony led marketing efforts for three start-up companies. He served as Vice President of Marketing for Evolve (EVLV, later acquired by Primavera) where he developed and executed a turnaround strategy that positioned Evolve as the leading provider of professional service automation (PSA) software and resulted in a successful IPO. Anthony also served as Vice President of Marketing for social search pioneer Clip2.com and co-founded Signature Wines, a national distributor of private-labeled wines. Previously, Anthony was a strategic consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he worked with clients in the telecommunications and pharmaceuticals industries.

Anthony serves as a director of the National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC). He is also a director of Compumentor, the world's largest non-profit distributor of computer software and hardware and a member of the Board of Trustees of FSC, a Princeton NJ-based global student organization. He is a founding member of the Full Circle Fund, a venture philanthropy group, and a charter member of the Pacific Council of International Policy. Anthony received his MBA from Stanford University and earned a BA in Politics and Economics from Princeton University.

Derek Blazensky, Board Member

Derek Blazensky is a founding partner of Cardinal Venture Capital. In addition to sitting on the Board of Directors for GuardianEdge, he sits on the board of Nimblefish, Telcontar, and Roving Planet.

Prior to forming Cardinal Venture Capital, Mr. Blazensky managed venture investments for Adobe Ventures. His portfolio companies included Tumbleweed Communications, advanced email solutions for business communications; AvantGo, a mobile Internet company; PictureIQ, picture editing and creativity solutions for Internet applications; and Digital Fountain, technologies for high-volume digital content delivery.

Before joining Adobe Ventures, Mr. Blazensky was director of Adobe Systems' printing system product line. Derek has also held engineering, sales and marketing positions at Teknowledge Incorporated, an early pioneer of artificial intelligence and expert systems, and GRiD Systems, developer of the first laptop computer. He began his career as an engineer for Ford Aerospace.

Mr. Blazensky received his BA in Physics from Fairfield University and his BS in Computer Science from the University of Connecticut.

Monica Morse, Board Member

Monica Morse is a Managing Director with Cargill Ventures and is based in San Mateo, California.

Monica has business development and strategy experience in both start-ups and large enterprises. She returned to Cargill, joining Cargill Ventures after co-founding a logistics start-up in Portland, Oregon, and working as Vice President of Business Development for digital rights management solutions' provider, Portland Software. During her first tenure at Cargill, Monica worked in the Strategy & Business Development Group, following a year as a grain merchant. Prior to joining Cargill, Monica worked as a financial analyst at Alex Brown & Sons and as an investment associate for the World Bank.

She serves on the Board of Directors for GuardianEdge, Lockdown Networks, MarkMonitor and Renessen, and oversees Cargill Ventures' investments in Dust Networks and Alvine Pharmaceuticals, and led the investment in Demantra (acq. by ORCL). She also serves on the Advisory Council for Astia (formerly the Women's Technology Cluster.)

Monica holds a B.A. in International Relations and an M.A. in Development Economics from Stanford University, and an M.B.A. from Harvard.
