Robert McLernon Appointed General Manager of Federal Sales at GuardianEdge
McLernon will direct federal sales and marketing initiatives
SAN FRANCISCO – July 28, 2006 -- GuardianEdge Technologies Inc. (http://www.guardianedge.com), a market leader in reducing the cost and complexity of enterprise data security, today announced the appointment of Robert McLernon to general manager of Federal Sales. He will be responsible for directing federal sales and marketing initiatives, as well as managing systems engineers throughout the company.

McLernon brings more than a decade of sales, business development and systems engineering experience to GuardianEdge. Most recently, he served as senior systems engineering manager for Citrix System’s Federal Systems Division. Prior to Citrix, McLernon served as federal sales manager at VistaScape Security Solutions where he was responsible for civilian Intel special programs. He has also held systems engineering management positions at Network Visions, Cisco Systems and served for more than 14 years for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where he was responsible for the technical management of network and security systems.
