Appointment will help drive encryption software sales through channel partners in the European markets
SAN FRANCISCO -- September 26, 2006 -- Today, GuardianEdge Technologies Inc. (http://www.guardianedge.com/), a leading provider of government and enterprise data protection software, announced the expansion of its UK and European sales channels with its latest hire, Lynton Stewart-Ashley, who joins the firm as Channel Sales Director for the United Kingdom and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Stewart-Ashley will drive encryption software sales through channel partners in the European markets, with a special emphasis in the UK and Ireland, Russia, Eastern Europe and the Nordic countries.

Mr. Stewart-Ashley brings more than fifteen years experience in the IT security industry. Before joining GuardianEdge, he served as channel manager for UK and Ireland at anti-virus company, F-Secure, and he was instrumental in implementing the UK channel sales program at firewall-maker CyberGuard.
